1. Who We Are

Next Gen Learning UK ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered 11+ exam preparation platform accessible at nextgenlearninguk.com. By creating an account and using the platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility & Account Creation

• Accounts must be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
• Children do not hold their own accounts. All accounts are held by adults.
• One child profile is permitted per account. If you have additional children, a separate parent account is required.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information during registration.

4. Free Diagnostic Assessment

New users can complete a free diagnostic assessment across all 4 subjects without providing payment details. Following the diagnostic, a subscription is required to access lessons, quizzes, mock exams, and full platform features. The diagnostic itself is provided free of charge with no obligation to subscribe.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Account section of the Parent Dashboard.
• After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your paid billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial months.
• If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days at support@nextgenlearninguk.com and we will investigate.
• We reserve the right to issue goodwill refunds at our discretion in exceptional circumstances.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorised access
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or reproduce any platform content
• Use the platform for any purpose other than educational preparation
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content in any forum or communication feature
• Attempt to circumvent any paywall, access control, or subscription requirement

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform — including questions, lessons, mock exam papers, diagrams, game assets, and software — is owned by or licensed to Next Gen Learning UK. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any platform content without our express written consent.

Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the platform for your child's private educational purposes only.

8. Platform Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. We may carry out maintenance, apply updates, or experience outages outside our control. We will not be liable for any loss arising from platform unavailability. In the event of extended outages (more than 48 hours), we may issue a prorated credit at our discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

Next Gen Learning UK provides educational preparation content only. We make no guarantee of exam results or school placements. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the total amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages including loss of data, loss of revenue, or emotional distress.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to your registered email address at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
